The world legend is thrown around far too easily these days – especially when it comes to football. But Gianfranco Zola is a Chelsea legend, and when he says something we listen.
Today he’s been talking about Enzo Fernandez, and he noted that the midfielder reminded him of Cesc Fabregas.
Fabregas was the last true creator we had in central midfield (with respect to Jorginho and the others), and we’ve missed a player like him ever since. Like Fabregas, Enzo seems to have a little bit of bite too, and if he leads us to important trophies like Fabregas did, he will quickly establish himself as a fan favourite too.
