(Video): “I take as much responsibility” – Graham Potter admits his team were “not good enough”

Graham Potter had to face the facts of another dreadful defeat today, this time at home to Southampton.

“I take as much responsibility [for the performance] as anyone,” the former Brighton coach said calmy in the much delayed presser after the game. He was willing to admit, again, that this performance wasn’t good enough.

Even so, he tried to put a positive spin on things by pointing out we were better in the second half than in the first half. That’s probably true, and he’s also right that we did enough to score a goal.

But when you’re saying that after every single game, where does that leave you?
