(Video): “It’s a poor goal” – Positive Potter admits his team let him down

It’s hard to get a negative work out of Graham Potter at times, but today even he had to complain about the goal Chelsea conceded against Dortmund.

The Blues had a corner, but the goal was scored at the other end as Karim Adeyemi picked up the ball in his own half and ran.

“It’s a poor goal” he agreed, and said his players were “honest” and would know that.

Some had criticised his decision to leave just Enzo Fernandez back, but in fact a closer look showed that there were actually 3 Chelsea players between Adeyemi and the goal when he picked the ball up. It was a lack of effort, not coaching.
