Graham Potter was asked in his press conference about whether there was more pressure on him now that his club has spent so much money.
Even he couldn’t deny that was the case. Asked how lesser teams could compete with him, Potter compared the situation to war.
“It’s like warfare” he claimed, saying that teams could still win as “guerrilla” fighters, and it wasn’t always “the big guns” who won.
The problem many people have with Potter in these press conferences is that he’s still speaking like a local insurgent, when he’s now actually the head of NATO.
