David Ornstein was on Sky this morning explaining how Chelsea will deal with their bloated squad this summer.
He noted that the Blues were going to be “clinical” in selling off players the didn’t want or need. They will look at “the evidence, the numbers, the data” to figure out who isn’t performing.
That seems to hint that much loved academy players like Mason Mount could be ruthlessly jettisoned if they don’t perform. These new owners are truly trying their best to make themselves unpopular it seems.
