Things have been going from bad to terrible at Chelsea this season, which is the owners first season in charge. But they will remain focused on their long-term project and trying to bring Chelsea back to the top again, which feels like a real uphill struggle right now.

They will soon be looking to make a final decision on who the next manager will be, and there is a chance that it could be Luis Enrique, with him being one on the list.

Writing in his exclusive CaughtOffside column, insider Fabrizio Romano has given a small update on Enrique, with Tottenham also keen on bringing him in as their new boss.

“Luis Enrique has always been one of the coaches appreciated by Spurs; he’s also in the list at Chelsea but he’s taking his time before making any decision, and same for the clubs,” Romano said.

“Vincent Kompany is also a coach that Tottenham appreciate but again, no decision has been made yet and it’s not that close yet.”
