Chelsea fans in some parts of the internet are celebrating the sacking of Paul Ince at Reading because they believe the coach had been holding back the potential of Chelsea loanee Cesare Casadei, the former Inter midfielder who has been on loan with the Royals since January.
To be fair to Ince, he can’t be faulted for failing to use of Casadei. He eased him in gently with sub appearances here and therein January and February, before making the Italian an undisputed starter following his goal against Blackburn in March.

Casadei has now made 5 starts in a row, and while that wasn’t enough to save Ince, it should show interim manager Noel Hunt that the 20 year old should start the remaining 5 games of the season too – hopefully while also engineering a system that gets the best out of Cesare.
Whatever happens, he will certainly come back to Chelsea as a more experienced player this summer.
