Chelsea have their foot in the door with Barcelona midfielder as Todd Boehly plans to join meetings

We heard yesterday Barcelona midfielder Gavi is being courted by Chelsea, who apparently met his entourage for preliminary discussions about a move this summer.

Now we’re hearing more and more detail – to the point that we’re starting to take the idea seriously.

It’s all seemed so unlikely until now – the teenager has come through La Masia into the Barcelona first team and is thriving under Xavi. Why would he gamble an almost guaranteed future of success there to risk it all in London?

Money is the answer, and with Barca struggling to pay their players, Chelsea are ready to swoop. AS today report that a second meeting between the Blues and Gavi’s people has been arranged – and this time Todd Boehly is going to be present in an attempt to impress how seriously his club are taking this.

Gavi is hardly pushing to leave – but we at least have our foot in the door, it seems.

  1. Adding more player will not solved Chelsea problem. The Only thing club would do is to concentrate to look for the experience cotch who can make the best line up for the team . The squad of Chelsea can win any trophy and can beat any team in the world but the challenge are the cotches brought the by official , Chelsea is abig team, need also abig cotch with experience and good administration and management. Look at the club big names e.g kante, kovacic Silva James, mount ,pulisic name them they have been lifting big trophies. Those payer added are they going to play alone or need some body with experience to guide them on how to score goals.?
