Chelsea and Liverpool have just played out a 0-0 draw in the first half at Stamford Bridge, bringing a rather disturbing stat to the fore.
That makes it 8 games since the Blues scored in the first half at home in the Premier League. That puts us level with out longest ever run of that sort – set way back in 1992-1993.
8 – Chelsea have failed to score in the first half of each of their last eight Premier League games at Stamford Bridge, their joint-longest such run in the competition, with the previous instance coming between November 1992 and March 1993. Chore. pic.twitter.com/DFtpunJY9h

It was the same old story, plenty of chances created, but nobody on the end of them looking like they were actually going to score. We would not be at all surprised if this team against Brighton and Brentford.
