Chelsea’s owners have apparently responded to criticism they have received for entering the Chelsea players dressing room on Saturday evening.
The Blues had just lost 2-1 to Brighton at Stamford Bridge and manager Frank Lampard was giving them a debrief. The owners joined the talks and apparently stayed there for an hour giving their ten pence worth to the players.

A lot has been said about this and most reports suggest the owners told the players that they were embarrassing and have demanded more from them to prove their reputation and transfer fees paid for them.
There has been some people criticising them doing this, and one of the owner has sent a text message to talkSPORT host Jim White, as reported by The Daily Mail today.
White said:”A short time ago, I won’t give the name, but I can say it is from the Chelsea ownership and I’ll paraphrase it.
“I asked is it fair or unfair for the ownership to pitch up in the home dressing room afterwards and have a dialogue with the players when things aren’t going well?
“The message tells me ‘I don’t know if it’s fair or unfair, but all we ask is the players fight for the fans who invest money, time and energy into the players. We care about winning on and off the pitch”.’
Personally I am pleased to see them telling the players this if true, because it’s absolutely bang on. The fans pay hard money to go watch and support the team, and they haven’t showed them enough lately.
