Chelsea player gets ‘another standing ovation’ outside Stamford Bridge

Chelsea drew 0-0 with Liverpool last night at Stamford Bridge in a game that was once again very frustrating for The Blues.

It was a case of groundhog day for Chelsea as they played well, had a lot of chances, but failed once again to get the ball in the net, which has become the story of their season.

Liverpool fielded a weakened side and it was a perfect chance for Chelsea to beat them, but they failed and had to settle with a point.

The one major bonus was a return to the starting line up for midfielder N’Golo Kante, who was absolutely incredible in the middle of the park again, bossing the game.

It just shows what Chelsea have missed without him and the French international was given a standing ovations as he was subbed off in the second half. But that wasn’t the only one he got. Henry Winter of The Times says he received one after the game driving off in his Mini as well!
