Chelsea are set to earn themselves a small cash bonus as they look to complete a deal with Bayern Munich.
Obviously in the grand scheme of things £1million isn’t much in football, which sounds absolutely crazy to think how much it is to the average person, but even still, every little helps and Chelsea will be getting £1million off Bayern Munich very soon as they agree to let coach Anthony Barry join them.
As per @JNorthcroft, #CFC have agreed terms with Bayern Munich over assistant coach Anthony Barry. Bayern will pay Chelsea close to £1m in compensation. More here:https://t.co/goHMNWT9HX

According to The Times, Barry is set to join Bayern Munich after the two clubs finally thrashed out a deal for his release.
It could also help Chelsea’s attempts to get Julian Nagelsmann, who is still attached to Bayern.
The report says the resolution of Barry’s situation also helps clear the path for Chelsea should they decide they want to appoint Nagelsmann as their next boss. Chelsea would need to negotiate his release and with the Barry issue removed from the equation there would be fewer complications to such discussions.
