Chelsea to try ambitious Kepa swap to secure new goalkeeper

Andre Onana is the latest goalkeeper to be linked heavily with Chelsea as the Blues look to solve the weeping sore that is their situation in nets.

Kepa Arrizabalaga and Edouard Mendy have swapped the starting shirt back and forth for a couple of years, with neither able to convince anyone they’re a good long term option.

Sport Witness today reports that Chelsea emissaries have been sent to Milan to discuss a potential deal with Inter, and that they have even taken the idea of a Kepa swap deal with them. Inter are always looking to improve their financial situation, and Chelsea could potentially offer very favourable terms.

Onana has recovered from a very dodgy start to life in Milan to become an important player, and play an important role in helping them reach the Champions League semi finals.

You can expect Chelsea scouts to be watching those two legs against AC Milan very closely.
