Conor Gallagher is being linked with Borussia Dortmund today, with Sky Sports Germany’s reports being repeated by their English counterparts.
Gallagher has ended up playing a lot for the Blues this season, with his versatility allowing him to fill in for a number of injured or out of form teammates.
Despite that, Chelsea need to sell players to reduce their bloated squad size and to start to raise funds to balance the books after an insane spending spree.

The one stumbling block as we see it is likely to be the price. Dortmund’s entire model is based on buying cheaper players and selling them on, and given Chelsea’s only real reason to sell Gallagher is to raise funds, we can’t see the German side being able to offer a competitive deal that we want to accept.
In any case, new manager Mauricio Pochettino’s input is likely to be vital before any decisions are taken.
