Chelsea’s managerial search has become the talk of the town after the club decided to sack Graham Potter late on Sunday.
Chaos ensued and the rumours begin. And this is all whilst the club have a game of football to play tonight as well against fellow strugglers Liverpool.
Sources: Chelsea hold talks with two manager candidates on Monday!
There have been a handful of potential new candidates linked, with the club looking to talk to a few top available managers, and Fabrizio Romano as always, is on hand to deliver the latest on the situation.
Will Chelsea be turning to yet another Brighton manager? It does not look like it.
This is according to Romano in today’s exclusive Daily Briefing for CaughtOffside.
“The manager search continues, Nagelsmann remain frontrunner but still waiting on the club to make final decision,” Romano said.
“I included Luis Enrique and Ruben Amorim in the list; De Zerbi will not leave Brighton during the season, no updates on the others. The conversations continue to find a solution as soon as possible.”
So it looks like Chelsea do want a manager in as soon as possible, with some big games coming up especially in Europe in the Champions League, the only competition they can still win this season and their only realistic route into the UCL next season.
