Frank Lampard to help Mauricio Pochettino with transition

Now it seems certain that we’re going to have Mauricio Pochettino as our new Chelsea coach, and details about the next stages are gradually becoming clear.

The new man won’t officially arrive until the summer, but from the moment a deal is agreed (potentially as soon as this week) he will effectively get to work planning for the summer.

He will of course watch every game remaining this season (possibly even from the stands) and will likely analyse the first part of the campaign too. This will give him a big head start on the summer, when he will have to make some big decisions about who to keep and who to sell.

The Evening Standard add that Frank Lampard, who has been working with the players for a few weeks now and will have control until June, will also be assisting Pochettino in the process, something that makes total sense.
