(Image): Frank Lampard’s statistically most favoured players from first Chelsea spell

The Athletic produced a really interesting graphic today which showed the Chelsea players still in the squad from Frank Lampard’s first spell as manager and what percentage of minutes they were available for he had used them in.

As you’d expect, Thiago Silva and N’Golo Kante were top of the list, with both world class superstars playing more than 70% of Champions League and Premier League minutes they were available for, followed closely by Ben Chilwell.

It paints an interesting picture, with Mason Mount the most likely to benefit, given Silva, Kante and Chilwell would have started when fit under any manager.

What will be really fascinating is how the new faces who have arrived since Lampard left are liked by the Blues coach.
