Frank Lampard has been speaking to the media today ahead of Chelsea’s game against Brentford tomorrow night.
He confirmed that he will be without two key players in Mason Mount and Reece James, with both now expected to miss the rest of the season.

There was a mention of surgery for Mount on a minor injury, and that has since now been confirmed by The Athletic, who say that Mount has had a minor op on his ongoing pubic muscle injury, which is why he could have played his last game of the season for Chelsea.
However, Mount’s replacement in the squad for tomorrow may have already been decided. Sources have told Si & Dan Talk Chelsea today that Carney Chukwuemeka is expected to be in the Chelsea squad for tomorrow night.
The promising youngster has not made many squads this season especially under Lampard, but he should get a chance and some minutes tomorrow night!
