Julian Nagelsmann has been strongly linked to the Chelsea job ever since Graham Potter was fired on Sunday night.
It all makes sense. He’s just out of work, having been sacked by Bayern Munich days before, but he’s clearly a top young coach.
Chelsea don’t want to wait until the summer treading water, so anyone available now has a huge head start.
There will be more competition in the summer too – with PSG and Real Madrid potentially looking for coaches. The good news is that on TalkSport, German football writer Constantin Eckner claimed that the coach is “much more interested” in a Chelsea move than a switch to Spurs, also looking for a new coach.
