For the second time this season we’re in the fevered speculation about Chelsea’s new manager zone, and this time it’s spicier than ever.
Julian Nagelsmann is freshly on the market after being sacked by Bayern Munich, and he’s considered among the favourites for the job. Just a week ago he looked likely to be Tottenham’s new boss, but we’ve now joined the race, and according to Tom Roddy’s piece in the Telegraph today, Nagelsmann would favour us over Spurs.
We have already contacted both Luis Enrique and Nagelsmann according to this story, with our sporting directors moving quickly to fill the vacancy before this season crashes and burns any further.
He would be “more interested” in joining us rather than Tottenham, but that’s not quite the whole story, as he’s also keen to see what other top jobs come up this summer. PSG and Real Madrid are likely looking for new coaches, for starters.
