The rumours connecting Vincent Kompany with the permanent Chelsea manager job are growing stronger.
Today Tom Roddy of the Times has reported that the Burnley coach is a “surprise candidate” for the job, building on whispers that have built up over the last few weeks. He names Kompany in a group of four candidates on the list, alongside Julien Nagelsmann, Mauricio Pochettino “and one other” – we’re not sure why he won’t name them.

Kompany joined Burnley from Anderlecht a year ago and led them to the Championship title with a storming season which confirmed his place as one of Europe’s top young coaches. Taking the Chelsea job when he’s on such an upwards trajectory would be a risk – but one he can probably afford to take.
He’s still very young and inexperienced compared to some of the other candidates on the list, but could also have a huge amount of potential as a coaching prospect.

So these clowns that owns Chelsea at the moment don’t have any plan for this club. In fact let it be that this Kompany story is just a rumour or gossip, whatever you call it. Chelsea needs a top class manager for goodness sake. Oh just because Kompany led Bunley back to Premiership has qualified him for Chelsea job. You guys are Jokers right.?
