When reading about potential new managers who could take over as the new permanent Chelsea boss we often only see two or three names.
If the general consensus is to be believed, then it looks like one of either Luis Enrique or Julian Negelsmann are most likely to take the reigns, and that probably is very much the case.
But could we see a wildcard option, a name from nowhere?
Well, according to Ben Jacobs writing in his latest exclusive and extensive Chelsea column for Si & Dan Talk Chelsea, there could be a surprise name come into the frame, with one in particular already being considered.

Jacobs says that Napoli’s Luciano Spelletti has been considered, who would be a popular choice amongst Chelsea fans.
However, Jacobs also admits that Spaletti is solely focused on winning Napoli their first Scudetto since 1989/90 and trying to win the Champions League right now. But you never know!
Jacobs said: “Sources have indicated some surprise names have been considered as well. Luciano Spalletti is one name discussed, but he’s solely focused on winning Napoli their first Scudetto since 1989/90 and trying to win the Champions League.”
