Chelsea’s “matchday unseen” videos are often pretty painful watches when the Blues lose, but there are generally some useful insights you can pick up from the behind the scenes angles.
In this week’s edition we noted the return of Mykhailo Mudryk to action at Stamford Bridge, where not much has been seen of him since his January signing.
On Saturday he was actually able to make an impact with some impressive runs, and in the video you can hear the excitement in the crowd building when he gets on the ball.
He still has a long way to go, but one feels he was one of the few player able to walk away from the game knowing his reputation was enhanced rather than damaged by the defeat, especially given he got a clever assist for the Blues’ only goal.
