It was an emotional and tense press conference at Stamford Bridge this afternoon as Bruno Saltor took his first press conference as Chelsea’s interim manager, and had to field a lot of questions about his old boss Graham Potter’s sacking.
It was almost hard to move on from his poignant messages about Potter to the mundane talking points of the standard presser – what’s the team news, Bruno?
In the end there wasn’t much to say, and the new man just said it was the same team news as on Saturday.

One thing that will have changed a little is N’Golo Kante’s match fitness. He got a good spell in the second half against Villa, and while tomorrow might be too soon for a start, he will certainly get on the pitch again and should be ready for 90 minutes at the weekend.
How he uses his French midfield star is Bruno’s first big test as coach.
