A manager change always means new chances for players to earn their place in the team back, and that’s especially true at Chelsea at the moment, where there are so many options available to any coach that a new man will have to go straight back to the drawing board.
Frank Lampard knows a lot of these players – for better as well as worse. There are some obvious candidates to benefit from the change – like Mason Mount – but who could suffer?
Kai Havertz played more minutes than anyone else under Graham Potter, and while we still expect him to be used regularly, he can’t expect guaranteed starts in the same way.
Then there’s Marc Cucurella, who has really struggled, despite some bright games. Potter knew him well and was at Brighton with him, Lampard won’t have any emotional connection, and will likely be less keen on him as a left centre back than Potter.
Finally there’s Kepa, who ended up being dropped by Lampard, and was eventually replaced. Will history repeat itself?

David Fofana will definitely get an upper because Lampard likes to play with a tall, strong and fast-ish type of striker, like Tammy, Drogba etc.
He is right every manager knows what he wants and how to acheive it
As for me I want to see mount back I feel bad to see him as anused sub it pained me
I want to be getting up date from you
Would really love to
