Chelsea have been linked once again with a notorious transfer target that they seem to be linked with every transfer window.
It’s been quite the miracle really how Wilfried Zaha is actually still at Crystal Palace, given the amount of interest that has come in for him from big clubs around Europe.

His contract runs out at the end of this season and such clubs are hovering around him again. Chelsea are one of them according to a report from the Guardian yesterday at least.
Chelsea are often linked with Zaha, and I guess the possibility of getting him as a free agent might be appealing to them. But it’s also appealing to many other clubs, as many as eight or nine according to Fabrizio Romano in his exclusive CaughtOffside column.
Romano confirms that Palace are trying to keep Zaha and have offered him a new four-year-contract to stay at the club.
“I can confirm the reports that have been doing the rounds: yes, Crystal Palace have offered Wilfried Zaha a huge contract. They will insist to keep him but the decision on the player’s side will be made at the end of the season, not in April,” Romano explained.
“There are as many as eight or nine clubs informed on the conditions of the deal, Zaha is super appreciated not just in the Premier League, but Palace want to keep him.”
