Todd Boehly was in Munich to watch the Bayern Munich – Manchester City game last night, Fabrizio Romano has reported.
There are two potential angles to this, one to do with Chelsea’s former manager and another to do with a potential future manager.
Thomas Tuchel was sacked by Boehly back in September, and is now Bayern coach. We would imagine their relations aren’t great given what we have heard about the sacking, but either way Tuchel wants to bring Chelsea coach Anthony Barry to join him on the staff there.

The relationship between Chelsea and Bayern is very good — Barry will join Tuchel.
Sources feel there would be no issues to agree on compensation for Nagelsmann but it’s up to Chelsea.

Munich will have to agree a compensation package with Chelsea for that, and that was presumably discussed in any meeting between Boehly and Bayern executives. Romano says it will be “no issue.”
Then there’s Julian Nagelsmann, the coach sacked by Bayern when they brought in Tuchel. He could be Chelsea’s next boss, and Boehly will also presumably have been discussing compensation the other way while in Germany.

Let him go because he hasn’t done much for Chelsea and I don’t see him doing much for Bayern.Chelsea need to go and get someone that has been on the bread and butter side of football and now has a clear vision to take a big club forward not a manager living on past reputation.
I think Julian is the right guy….he is very tactical talented person and the way he enthusiasm the team and players as on pitch as well as training it’s superb…he will surely succeed at Chelsea… welcome to Chelsea JN.
Who do you describe as having nothing to show of in the first place??? TUCHEL !!! I bet you’re not talking about MY TUCHEL !! Cus he’s the best Manager Chelsea has ever had ♂️, the trophies proves so !!!
