Trying to figure out how to “fix” Chelsea only makes it clear how big the task is

Football Daily are always looking for a big topic to be their flagship Sunday content, and they picked a massive one this week “how to fix Chelsea,” following one of the most chaotic weeks in one of the most chaotic seasons of a very chaotic era at the club.

Sadly the problems at Chelsea are just too big to be “fixed” by any of these simple solutions like sell player X or appoint manager Y, but just the act of discussing what the problems are goes some way to helping us understand how big they are.

You can see their takes in the clip embedded here:

Most of these things are no brainers really – we desperately need to clear out the squad, and we desperately need to get a manager in place who can both get instant results as well as building for the future.

That’s not going to be easy – and that’s just the start.

  1. An innovative Manager is paramount meaning one who thinks out of the box and does not copy the system he met in place. Inserting a clause in all recent contracts within the last two transfer windows that after 3 games a performance appraisal acrois the board for all players. Investing in a KOBRA HD Paper Shredder for the grossly overpaid but continuing underperforming players. Business is business this is not personal in anyway but sincerely professional. The need to protect CFC investment, preserve CFC name, reputation and legacy.
