Two key Chelsea stars train ahead of season defining game

Chelsea’s open training session this afternoon has revealed some interesting information about who might play tomorrow night in the second leg of our Champions League quarter final against Real Madrid.

First up we have Kai Havertz and Ruben Loftus-Cheek back in action, after both were left out of the squad for Saturday’s squad with minor injuries. The cameras at the training ground showed them both working with the group as normal.

Thiago Silva and N’Golo Kante also were out of the equation on Saturday as they were rested, and both were back on the grass at Cobham today too.

That means Frank Lampard has almost a fully fit squad to choose from, with only long-term absentee Armando Broja on the sidlelines, along with Kalidou Koulibaly, who was hurt in last week’s first leg.

Kante and Silva should walk straight back into the team, while Havertz probably has a decent chance of making a start too.
