Last night we saw all sorts of journalists and papers wanting a slice of the Chelsea manager hunt attention pie, and Miguel Delaney of the Independent claimed that the Blues were considering speaking to Antonio Conte about an unlikely return.
This is easy to do, as you can’t prove anything either way, so we’re not surprised to see even more unlikely names in the mix today.
Spanish source Relevo is adding another former Chelsea manager – Jose Mourinho – plus another Jorge Mendes client, former Wolves and Spurs boss Nuno Espirito Santo – to the list.

Once again, we’re not sure whether this is just a hunt for clicks on the part of the writer, an attempt from Mendes to make his clients seem more desired, or simply a true story based around the Chelsea ownership’s intentions to be thorough to a totally unnecessary degree.
Whatever the case may be, the chance of either of these guys taking over when there are better options already on the market seems about zero.
