Bruno Salter was asked in his press conference today whether he had any hesitation in taking over the job vacated by the sacking of his former boss and mentor Graham Potter.
He deflected the question really, but what could he say? As he pointed out, all he can do is try his best to help the team while they need him.
Coaches are always waiting for a moment like this to make their name, but he won’t have wanted it to be in these circumstances.
