Chelsea fans born in the last 20 years will be used to seeing their club compete in Europe at the very top. For those a little older, the 1998 Super Cup win over Real Madrid marked a special moment as the Blues finally reached the top echelons of the game and proved they belonged.
The club have produced a really nice little documentary to commemorate that game, and hopefully to inspire our players to a famous comeback at home.
Let’s hope they can channel some of that spirit tonight – they will need it.
