TalkSport discussed Chelsea’s defeat to Real Madrid last night on the show today, and the big failing they mentioned was the way the Blues had been stuck in their half, unable to get out and unable to play balls to stretch Madrid’s back line.
Raheem Sterling and Joao Felix were there to counter, but we couldn’t find them in space.
When the Blues did manage to play a ball over the top it worked well – as we saw in the second minute, and later on when Ben Chilwell was able to slip one down the channel.
