It’s easy to forget how young Enzo Fernandez is and now new he is to the very top level of football; and he looked a little nervous in his first Champions League press interview.
The midfielder soon warmed up however, and when asked whether Chelsea had seen the best of him yet he conceded that he still thought he had room for improvement.
He’s still had some very impressive games, but we’re glad he knows he’s still got so much more to unlock in his game. That’s what’s so exciting about how good he is for his age.
This is the first of hopefully dozens of top European games he will play for this club. Once there’s a team and a structure around him, he can shine.
