Frank Lampard gave some interesting thoughts after tonight’s game about where his team could have done better to exploit Real Madrid’s weaknesses.
He pointed to his wing backs, saying his team could have “utilised their strengths better,” with the wing backs “more urgent.”
As he went on to say, that’s for him, the staff and the players to work on in the weeks to come, but there’s no doubt he’s right and that there should be more to come from those positions.
