Wolves manager Julen Lopetegui was asked what he made of the appointment of Frank Lampard as Chelsea’s interim boss, and he was very complimentary.
“He deserves the best,” Lopetegui said of his opposite number.
It’s nice to hear – but we’re sure Lampard would rather have had the 3 points instead.
Lopetegui has proven himself to be a really good coach on many occasions, and will be somewhere at least on Chelsea’s very longlist for new permanent manager.
