ESPN’s quick fire questions saw Italian football commentator Don Hutchinson asked about the potential for Romelu Lukaku to play for Chelsea next season.
He said he couldn’t see it, but raised an interesting prospect – if Inter Milan can’t afford to make his loan permanent but Lukaku wants to stay in Italy, could he maybe move to a different team there?
“I could see him playing for AC Milan,” the pundits suggested.
It seems a bit mad for English fans – Lukaku to move across the city to the rivals of the team he’s been playing for. But it happens all the time in Serie A, so maybe it’s not a bad idea after all.
