(Video): Kai Havertz gives credit to Bruno and coaching staff for stepping up

Instead of speaking only about himself and his teammates, Kai Havertz took his chance in a post match interview tonight to praise Bruno Salter and his fellow coaches for stepping up and taking charge in the wake of their boss and friend Graham Potter being sacked.

It must have been very hard for them all, they’re professionally unprepared for this and likely personally affected. It’s good to know the players are recognising that.

Whatever you think about his ability on the pitch, he’s a smart and polite lad and things like this remind you of that.
