Graham Potter was very careful to not be critical of those above him at Chelsea as he knew his job was in their hands, and he was hoping to be in for the long haul.
Frank Lampard knows he is going after the next 7 games so he doesn’t have the same concerns. Today he admitted that there is an “issue with the balance of the squad.”
It was hardly scathing criticism, but it’s the first admission of that we’ve had from any coach. It’s blindingly obvious, it’s just nice to see someone at the club admit it.
