TalkSport’s look back at the weekend’s fixtures saw them join in with the wider football punditocracy in tearing Chelsea apart.
Sam Matterface listed off some synonyms to describe the shocking showing.
“Lethargic, weak, insipid.”
He pointed out that if it hadn’t been for Evan Ferguson’s injury and Kepa in goal, it could have been a far more embarrassing scoreline.
Micky Gray built on that and called these players “a group of bottlers.”
Apart from a couple of exceptions, it’s hard to disagree.
