The worst part of being a Chelsea manager at the moment is having to face the Chelsea TV cameras after the game, desperately trying to stay positive when there’s simply nothing to be positive about.
Frank Lampard had to do that last night after another defeat.
What else can he say at this point? He doesn’t want to throw his players under the bus and pass the buck, but he doesn’t want to take more blame than he needs to. He and the other 4 managers this season have struggled for explanations since August, what’s going to change now?
