Chelsea are preparing to take on a dangerous Real Madrid team tomorrow night in the Champions League, and in today’s press conference Frank Lampard was asked how he would prepare his team for a third clash in three years with Los Blancos.
“We have to understand the strengths of Real Madrid” he pointed out, noting their individual strengths and the way they like to control games.
He would do well to look at what Thomas Tuchel did a year ago, when the coach produced a perfect pressing plan to counteract what Carlo Ancelotti tried.
