As a born and bred PSG fan Julien Laurens saw Mauricio Pochettino’s time in Paris up close, and while he was very critical of some of his decisions at the time, speaking on ESPN today he was much more positive about his prospects at Chelsea once he is appointed.
There were plenty of issues at the club at the time – and it’s not like the managers since then have done much better. It’s certainly an interesting appointment, with his Spurs connections a shadow hanging over the appointment that can’t be ignored.
