£15m fee could buy Chelsea talent a fresh start – Serie A move back on the cards

Chelsea’s summer of sales is progressing well, and we’ve got another one seemingly in the pipeline.

Callum Hudson-Odoi spent last season on a disappointing loan at Bayer Leverkusen, after a disappointing preceding season playing less than he could have done at Chelsea.

The poor guy’s career really needs to get back on track, and the good news is that there remains plenty of interest from some top clubs.

AC Milan, Fulham and Nottingham Forest are all mentioned as interested parties in Jacob Steinberg’s piece in the Guardian today.

What’s crazy is that he’s still just 22. Surely his time at Chelsea has come to an end, but his career is only just getting started, and he has plenty of time to establish himself somewhere else.

Those all sound like great options – Milan in particular. Several of his old academy teammates like Tammy Abraham, Fikayo Tomori and Ola Aina have launched their careers there.
