“Active discussions on” – Hope reignited that Chelsea can sell player to Saudi

Chelsea are seemingly doing very well with departures this week so far, with many deals advanced.

And we have the Saudi Arabia clubs to thank on this one, with the likes of Hakim Ziyech, Kalidou Koulibaly, and Edouard Mendy all reportedly advancing in talks to join different Saudi clubs.

But there was some disappointment in news that neither Romelu Lukaku or Pierre Emerick Aubameyang have been overly keen on going to any of the Saudi clubs, which of course is completely fair enough as they are humans and entitled to make their decisions.

However, Aubameyang to Saudi might not be done and dusted yet, with negotiations continuing. Chelsea know that selling players to Saudi clubs will give them the best possible fees for players and it is also one of the only options that certain players on big wages can go to.

As you’ll see from Romano’s update just now here, there’s some positivity again on Aubameyang to Saudi.
