Brighton ‘hopeful’ of signing Chelsea player that isn’t Levi Colwill, open to adding him in Caicedo deal

Day two of the summer transfer window has seen plenty of dramatic transfer updates so far and we are only midway through the afternoon.

All clubs are pretty busy it would seem, especially Chelsea. We’ve been hearing a lot about potential outgoing players this week, and one of them that is simmering up is midfielder Conor Gallagher.

Sources: The latest on Chelsea’s goalkeeper pursuit – Emi Martinez, Andre Onana, and Robert Sanchez!

Yesterday he was linked with a potential move to Tottenham, today he is linked with a potential move to Brighton.

That is at least according to 90min, who claim Brighton are hopeful of signing Gallagher. They can offer the England midfielder European football and believe he would be a good fit for them.

Of course, Brighton also have a player that Chelsea like in Moises Caicedo, and according to the report, Brighton are open to having Gallagher used as part of the deal, which might be the key for Chelsea to get this deal done.

It would also mean that Chelsea’s Levi Colwill will not be ending up at Brighton this window!
