Brighton set asking price for Moises Caicedo with Chelsea readying move

Chelsea have today learned what sort of price it is going to take to prize midfielder Moises Caicedo away from Brighton this summer.

The Blues have been heavily linked with the Ecuadorian international a lot since the January transfer window and he appears to still be a huge target for them right now as they look to revamp the midfield even further.

Chelsea will definitely escalate their interest in Caicedo now after losing out on Manuel Ugarte, that is at least according to Ben Jacobs today.

But how much will he cost? Unfortunately he does not have a release clause so Brighton are going to milk the fee for him.

According to The Telegraph today, Brighton will demand significantly more than £70m for Moises Caicedo this summer. Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United have all shown interest — and Liverpool could yet become involved, depending on the eventual cost.

Sounds like he won’t be cheap at all then, let’s see if Chelsea still make that move.
