“Chelsea are negotiating” for 6ft 6in goalkeeper in search for new number one

Chelsea are continued to be linked to potential new goalkeepers this summer as they ponder new number one options.

The futures of both Kepa Arrizabalaga and Edouard Mendy is unclear right now, but you wouldn’t be surprised if one or both of them are sold by the club this summer.

Chelsea have been strongly mentioned as being keen on signing Inter Milan stopper Andre Onana, and that has been backed up by Italian reporter Gianluca Di Marzio this week.

He says Inter Milan will try to understand how much Chelsea are interested in Onana in the upcoming meeting between the two clubs.

Interestingly as well in this same report, Di Marzio claims Chelsea are negotiating for 6ft 6in goalkeeper Robert Sanchez from Brighton.

He was a name often linked with Chelsea in recent months, but we had not heard anything solid on that interest for a while, so this news, if true of course, would be very surprising, especially because Sanchez even lost his place as Brighton number one this season.
