“Chelsea expect more” says Fabrizio Romano as club put off by Chelsea asking price

It’s no secret that Chelsea are trying to flog one or two of their players this summer. Well actually, way more than just one or two are up for grabs. But they aren’t about to sell off cheap.

The Blues are setting asking prices for players they are open to selling, and their fees are tending to put some clubs off right now.

Sources: Chelsea consider keeping Mason Mount this summer whether he signs new deal or not!

Kai Havertz certainly looks like one of those players who could leave this coming transfer window, but Chelsea have set a firm asking price for him, but one that really, is quite fair in my opinion.

Fabrizio Romano says Chelsea want €60m plus add-ons for Kai Havertz, which equates to £51.4m. I think that fee is entirely fair, but Real Madrid do not, and they don’t want to pay that much for him, placing doubts over whether they will make an offer now or not.

But as Romano also says in his latest tweet below, Chelsea are expecting more approaches for Havertz from other clubs, so it sounds like they are confident of getting what they want for the German international.
