Chelsea reject another offer from Premier League rivals for midfielder

Chelsea have rejected another offer from one of their Premier League rivals for a key midfielder.

The Chelsea clear-out continues, and there aren’t many players who are ‘safe’ from being sold right now.

Sources: Chelsea set to push on to sign Moises Caicedo, confidence brewing!

As we are seeing names like Mateo Kovacic and Kai Havertz being close to joining other PL rivals, it looks like Manchester United are knocking on the door again for Mason Mount this week.

However, they have had yet another offer rejected by Chelsea, or more accurately, countered.

According to The Athletic, as seen below, Manchester United have submitted an improved offer worth up to £50million for Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount. Chelsea have countered this and requested a £60million fee plus £5million in add ons.

It remains to be seen if a conclusion can be reached, but United are looking like they might be getting a little bit closer at least.

Mount looks like he has always been pretty keen on making the move, but the ball is in Chelsea’s court.
